Little lady had just 1 shot today..and didnt even cry......She smiled! Weird but I was happy.

She looked great! And even the pedi noticed her hemangioma shrinking.

Emma is 18 months old

Sweet, sweet Emma Kate....Its seems like just yesterday you came into our family. I love thinking back on the first time I held you in my arms....there are no words to describe how I felt. I really cant believe you turn 18 months today. Our sweet little baby is a toddler now. You are so special to us and your big sisters adore you. I am so lucky to be your mom :0)

Here are a few things you are up to these days.........................

-You love to dance to anything
- You are trying so hard to jump like your sisters
- First thing in the morning you cant wait to see your big sisters
- You get so excited when Daddy comes home from work
- You blow kisses when anyone says "bye"
- You are a great sleeper now, and still taking a 2-3 hr nap everyday and look forward to bedtime at 7:30
- You need your blankie, binkie, Violet and your sound machine and fan to sleep...we joke that you will taking these with you to college.Ha Hopefully not the binkie.
- You climb on everything and seem fearless
- You can point to your eyes, ears, teeth, nose, bellybutton, and feet
- You have the sweetest smile and the cutest laugh
- You are full of energy and get into everything and still put everything in your mouth

Some words you are saying are:

Dadda
Momma
Kaylah
Alivia
Sadie
Lets go
cheese...for mac and cheese
juice
please and thank you...without being prompted
baby
bye bye
hi
Kelsey

love you
and you still sign "more"

Your 18month checkup is later today and cant wait to see how much you have grown. We love you soo much sweet girl!

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful (kinda crazy) Easter with our 3 ladies. I love the above picture of Adam and Emma. Kaylah , Alivia and Emma are so lucky to have such an awesome dad. Any who we started the day off with brunch and a e hunt at Adam's parents. Lots of yummy food and we ate waaaayyy too much.
Sweet little Emma finally realizing that you pick the eggs up and put them in your bag........not just walk past them...
Alivia was kind enough to stop the hunt and smile for a quick picture.....she was in game mode.
And Miss Kaylah ...this little 9 year old scored $70 from this egg hunt...YES $70. She found the kids golden egg and the "adult" golden egg that had $50 bucks in it. She is saving up for an IPOD touch ...so this $$$$ should help :0)Kaylah, Alivia and Emma and their cousins Nathan and Ella......there was no chance I was getting a pic of them all looking at me....ha. After we headed to Adams grandparents for another egg hunt and dinner and yet again ate waaaayyy to much.
And finally our attempt at a family picture..................we hardly have any as a family and even fewer of me since I am the one behind the camera....trying to work on this, but as a mom of 3 girls I am constantly on the move and in nooo condition for pictures ;0)
Lots of Love

The great cloth diaper change

Emma is really happy today. Because she participated in the great cloth diaper change to set a record for the most cloth diapers simultaneously changed around the world.

Since this was the first time Emma has worn a cloth diaper.....she was a little curious.
When I was pregnant with Emma I seriously considered cloth diapering. But am sad to say I was talked out of it. Friends thought I was crazy to take on a challenge. I regret it now, as I am sure I could have done this and made it out new "normal". Oh well I can promise though that Baby Ryan #4 will be clothed diapered :0)
Here are some awesome fun reason to cloth diaper and check out this website to learn more on the record that Emma broke today! http://greatclothdiaperchange.com/

Why Cloth Diapers?

Reusable cloth diapers have many benefits, including:

  • Environmental: Cloth diapers reduce waste for families with children in diapers by more than 50%.
  • Financial: Cloth diapers allow families to save more than $2000 per child.
  • Health: Cloth diapers help parents reduce exposure of their babies’ skin and lungs to the chemicals in disposable diapers.
  • Cute and comfortable: Parents love putting soft cloth diapers, available in a variety of styles and patterns, on their babies.
  • Convenient: Once you’ve purchased your stash, no more weekly trips to the store to purchase more – simply put a load in the laundry!

girls night out!!

Not the kind where you get dressed up and meet a group of your girlfriends at the bar for a few drinks and talk about how hard being a mom is........but this kind

When you and your friend decide to be the cool moms and take your 2 3rd graders out for a dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe with 4 of their friends. Lots of screaming and goofiness. Relaxing??? Not at all!!! Alcoholic beverages??? Nope! But we sat back sipping on our sodas and enjoyed it because before too long they will want nothing to do with us :0(
